Bike ride

We decided to go cycling today. OH picked the route as I did not fancy cycling from home so we loaded the bikes on the car and drive to Marden for a mid Kent circuit. I had a bit of a sense of humour failure as we encountered more hills than we would have done if cycling from home (which I wanted to avoid as my gears are not working properly). It was only around 15 miles but felt more bit that might be that I am out of practice and need to get a bit fitter! Spotted this mum and baby foal en route.

Home to do some paperwork and computer stuff (preparation for holiday - which involved purchasing various tests on line and scheduling test dates - quite a complicated process!).

Evening bbq at a local friend which meant we could walk and there was no dedicated driver. Several glasses of pimms were drunk hence this being typed the morning after the night before! Another benefit of retirement having fun with friends on a school night!
