In A Frenzy

Normally I don't have the patience to chase around after wildlife. Conveniently, however, this butterfly could not pry itself from the bottlebrush and I could track it fairly easily. But, the bush swayed quite dramatically in the wind and the insect did not often settle, with wings in constant motion.

I chose to embrace the wind and capture the creature and shrub in motion which I feel more accurately portrays the evenings events than would a static shot.

Extra: Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. For the record. I liked how its wings emulate the leaf behind.
