Day 497 Another new month
Today was one of sunshine and showers which meant that once again we could avoid watering the new lawn at the house where daughter #2 is now living. A quiet day at home gave us plenty of opportunity to view the garden, or more accurately the reaction of the birds to the newly created space and the disappearance of their bird feeding station. Mr MC has placed the peanuts and a couple of other items on the patio table where eventually the magpies and a junior jay finally plucked up courage to land and feed (see extras) The young jay in particular called many times to sneak some peanuts but as usual was too camera shy for a really good shot. On Tuesday we will shop for something to replace the dying weigela, dug out yesterday.
For my main blip I've chosen a shot of one of many bees attracted by the germander. No shots were very good today as the bees were very much on the move. In fact this one is moving its wings so fast that they have become invisible!
