Raindrops on petunia

Rain finally! Such a relief. We had some overnight, not a lot, but enough to damage some of the flowers and save me watering the garden this morning. I won't complain about the flowers because we needed rain so badly and still need much more. The air smelled so fresh early this morning when I went out to take a few photos of raindrops - and it had to be a droplet blip!
Wildfires are still raging in the interior of the province, a very scary situation. Nearly the entire population of Vernon, about 40,000 people, have been on evacuation alert and others are on evacuation alert in other communities.  There was a small brush fire about one hectare in size on this island a few days ago but as far as I know, it's under control. Always thinking about friends and everyone else in the interior who are in the middle of the heat and smoky conditions.
Extras: Purple rain; raindrops on sunflower petals, and one of the drops looks like a duck to me.  :-)
