WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Party Night

Jennette and her hubby own the farm, campsite and boat moorings where our boat is.
Every year she has a birthday party and raises money for Manorlands - a local Sue Ryder Hospice. We went for a couple of hours and sat outside at a picnic table. The main do was in a marquee but there were lots of guests and we are still quite wary of Covid.
Just before we left, some fireworks over the other side of the canal were going off (nothing to do with Jennette's party) Bella was terrified so we got back to the boat as fast as we could. She is now lying under a folded heavy blanket which calms her down. Extra

In other news - we went into Skipton for some shopping and my opticians appointment. £95 for a pair of glasses that will enable me to see my words and music and see the ukulele frets and strings. I wasn't keen on any of the frames except one but the optician said they weren't right for me so I went for some that she said would be better. They'll do.

The evenings are getting colder now - Autumn is round the corner.

Goodnight :-)X
