Same Place - Different Day
Just for something different - back to the rugby club.
With the clubs first match, a friendly against South Molton, coming up on Saturday it’s time to do our bit and get the ground ready. Like a lot of clubs the pandemic has had an adverse effect on our club; apathy, few players training, reduced bar hours, no catering and the list of outstanding jobs alongside ‘wish’ lists mounting but we can only do what we can do. By mid afternoon the ground and pitch looked amazing.
A change of clothes and a coffee at home before heading off to the EPIC gig for a row, the numbers meant that I got to row two sessions, the novelty of rowing at stroke soon disappeared but it’s all useful experience.
Although this is proving to be a busy week I feel next week might be busier, Clare, Sam and I will have to ‘merge’ diaries to ensure we are all free at the right time.
