Playdoughman!

Today has been Excellent.

This morning: did the laundry, beds and dishes, made bread, managed to feed everybody, AND played with playdough with the boys. All in the morning!

The boys had a blast. Bean is into modelling with the playdough at the moment. He comstructed a fantastical story, all with black playdough. This is his snowman. Meanwhile in the happy corner Bear was bashing his playdough with a rolling pin, and surrepticiously trying to eat the bits of dry pasta he was sticking into it.

Yesterday at Isaiah's house he discovered the joy of melty cheese on toast. He thought that melty cheese on toast would be a good thing for lunch today. Which would have been great except we discovered the grill on our oven didn't work :-/ So Steve used a small blowtorch instead.....

This evening: a billion chocolate banana muffins (ok not quite a billion) and another loaf of bread made, subwoofer moved to stop Bear climbing up to reach the computer keyboard, more laundry done.

Oh and a good conversation about life and how we function with the boys. Good stuff.
