Wet!
Walkies with the "B" team today and as we pulled in to the meeting place it started raining and didn't stop until we were half way home after lunch (theirs NOT mine).
It didn't really matter as there was no wind and we all had big hats on (except ME) so the rain just ran off the rims and we all had light jackets on (except ME) and were cosy (except ME).
The Hawea River, seen in the background, was well above normal but his was caused, The Boss said, by the requirements for electricity generation down stream in the Clutha rather than the non eventful storm of previous blips. The Hawea River, which flows out of Lake Hawea, is controlled for this reason. Most of the electricity generation in NZ is from renewable hydro resources.
Those of you who are dog lovers will appreciate the humour of walking with a very wet dog who times all shaking for the maximum effect. Grrreat fun! No point in not sharing I recon.
Disaster almost struck when we returned to town to find our favourite coffee joint closed for a regional obscure holiday but thanks to the healthy competition in our town the new joint across the road was doing a roaring trade, so we all went there, except ME and I stayed in the back of Suzz and had a cosmetic tidy up and a zzzz.
Wet curls?
