Feeling positive...

Our results from Sunday morning's test arrived about 7.30 this morning... 2 positives.

After 18 months of precautions and preoccupation, this felt decidedly odd. Not "unfair"; just strange.

So far, my dominant feeling is gratitude for the vaccine. We both have minor head cold symptoms. Fingers crossed for it to stay like that. Meanwhile I have ordered a pulse oximeter "just in case". I think that in my head, this is probably some kind of 21st century talisman: a statement of faith in science.
