A dry, warm, sunny day, good for spending time in the garden. I tend to measure my productivity by the number of wheel barrow loads of garden waste that to go in the compost bin. Two is the answer, more days like this would be useful although believe the forecast isn’t good over the next few days.

This week the island is gearing up for Mull Car Rally, it’s starts on Friday running on and off until early hours on Sunday morning. The roads are busy and it’s best to stay at home, we don’t mind although always fear for the cats. Rally week brings a lot of business to the island, a final fling to the season. John was always a keen spectator and usually we have visitors but not this year, I think age is catching up with them all.
