No time to die
With a viewing of No Time To Die booked for 5pm and knowing that it would be Craig, Daniel Craig’s swan song, I pressed my tuxedo, ironed my dress shirt and polished my shoes to a shine that would make M proud.
Realising that turning up in this get-up would make me look like a fool, I quickly returned the outfit to the wardrobe, put my stretchy pants back on and slipped under the blanket to fall asleep in front of another episode of Succession.
I had earned the right to do so following the completion of some chores, a fairly decent 5k and a walk. Even Bond needs some downtime every once in a while.
The film itself is great and a fitting end to Daniel Craig’s reign as a double-o. For my money, probably his best one since Casino Royale, which will need a repeat viewing soon.
It was also great to see a full house turning out to watch the film, something I’ve not seen in a very very long time.
Won’t see any leaves on this acer for a long time either, but that’s the wonderful thing about nature being cyclical, things do come back round again.
