not an emergency blip

This is not an emergency blip. I meant to do this. This is the bark from the wild, untamed juniper in front of my house. All the descriptions comment on it and I've always enjoyed it. Samuel likes to sit on the front steps and smell the world, so for years I've sat with him noticed the light, the birds, and this tree, its bark, and its berries. 

Some positive news - there is a cool cartoon with an African girl as the superhero. Representation is powerful, it can determine what we think of as possible. She uses science to "technovate" solutions. It looked really cute.  https://youtu.be/DE29aqMYcQw
