Rehearsal
We trialled making vegan beef wellington today. Brilliant, definitely going to be our Christmas dinner centrepiece. Strider deserved a slap-up meal after all his hard work humping boxes and sorting cupboards. I made apple crumble for pudding which went down well. I have a secret recipe technique and can now improvise par excellence. In fact I am increasingly improvising in the kitchen, a kind of culinary jazz approach.
Did the Christmas tree as well. Bought it in the garden centre where they have a piano decked out with plants (see extra).
Good day but long and exhausting. I wanted to go to bed at 7pm but TSM wouldn’t let me. Spoilsport…
