A first

A walk down to the local flooring shop with MrM this morning, in the hope of choosing a carpet for the bedroom. For a small shop, they had a good selection of reasonably priced carpets. Make of carpet (hard-wearing, definitely not deep pile...) chosen fairly quickly, and we came home with a 'book' of colour samples.

Started writing cards this afternoon, and these are ready for posting tomorrow. Must be a first - cards ready before the last posting date before Christmas! In the photo is my old red address book - so many changes made during the year, and many of those over previous amendments so they're difficult to read, that I'm contemplating buying a new book and starting from scratch.

An interesting - and demanding - yoga session this evening, starting with an unscheduled discussion on the benefits of communism (with a small 'c'). You could sense the Tory hackles rising in one corner of the room!
