A Stocking Christmas Tree

Today we made a brief visit to Somerset to see my brother and family and I went to see the Christmas Tree Festival in the village of Stoke Trister nearby. There were about 30 small decorated trees. This is one of my favourites, lots of homemade stockings on the tree. The extra shows the tree made by my brother and decorated by my niece….less traditional and entitled ‘ Dreaming of a Beach Christmas’ as it has lots of shells etc and they enjoy going to the beach for windsurfing etc.  People are invited to vote for their favourite tree and make donations to go to the church.
Later today there was going to be a Carol Service and tomorrow a meditation session?!
