A cold and frosty morning

This is a view of the river as I took Libby for a walk at 8.30am this morning. There were a lot of Canada Geese looking hopeful!
 It was about -3.5C but actually as I was well wrapped up I didn’t feel too cold. I did our usual circuit which takes nearly an hour and in that time I didn’t even see anyone else walking a dog and only 3 cars, 2 cyclists and a paper  boy! 
It seems that most were staying at home. Libby didn’t seem to mind and was running in and out of the long grass quite happily , getting frost on herself. See extra.

We had the family to lunch and I have made a list of the presents I have bought and who still needs something. Now to wrap them too.
