Christmas Tree Fairy

Today's the day ....................... to outgrow

This is the fairy on the top of our Christmas tree - and she must be quite surprised at where she finds herself this year?

She has been gracing us with her presence at this time for many years.  In fact, ever since the scots pine seedling that I found in the garden while weeding, grew big enough to come inside and be our Christmas Tree.  For most of the year, the tree lives outside in a pot - which is quite big now - and then is brought in.  The problem this year, is that we only just managed to get it in the house because it has grown so much.  I'm just hoping that the poor fairy has got a head for heights.

And, as to what we'll do next year?  Well that remains to be seen ....................
