Wednesday: Church Island & Silver Birch

Before meeting up with The Tuesday Gang (currently meeting on Wednesdays!) I drove onto the mainland and went to Treborth Garden Centre (Stermat) where I wandered around the plants, pots, seeds and managed to leave without buying anything! Lots of heavy wintry showers :-((
We had a lovely Chinese lunch, there were 6 of us today!
I skipped coffee in order to go grocery shopping at the Co-op in LlanfairPG, stopping briefly to take photos of Church Island - see extras. The beautiful lichen is very common in the area - the air is comparatively clean!
Bumped into a friend of mine who has recently retired from her job at the garden centre where the Tuesday Gang used to meet - I’m also friends with her husband, we were friends at primary school, a lifetime ago!
Also met another friend, I was friends with her Dad - he has dementia now but he still loves singing, poetry, Elvis and conversation :-))
MrD had a busy delivery day too.
