Down to Earth

I’ve had to resort to a back blip today due to the absolutely atrocious weather! It’s been raining non stop all day and I’ve only been out of the house for an hour’s PT session at the gym.
When we took Mrs C’s car for a service a week ago, we spotted a flock of about 20 Bar Headed Geese feeding on the marshes whilst walking along the prom at Grange. According to t’internet they are quite a rare visitor to the U.K. so these are most likely descendants of escaped domesticated geese - of which there are apparently now more than enough for a “wild” population to become established.
Whilst we watched, several more flew down to join those already on the ground. This was the best (i.e. least blurred!) of many shots I took trying to capture them landing.
