Half And Half

I can't quite believe this winter. 50°F today. In February. In previous years we would not have seen 30 all month. The ice melted into puddles and it even rained for a while. I heard a commotion out on the lake, maybe they were scrambling to move their little shacks.

I liked this soggy leaf resting on a patch of ice floating in a puddle. It seems to tell the story for today.
