Fallen tree

Lots of fallen trees around and some parks eg Richmond Park and some NT gardens are still closed. This is a fir tree which has fallen in the riverside gardens we can see from our house…it has now been roped off pending sorting out as there is quite a big hole where the roots were.
From this angle( I could not get nearer because of temporary fence) it does not look that big but if you look at the extra you can see what it was like. We will now have a better view of the river and the rowing club opposite! 

On the recreation ground where we walk the dog a very large poplar tree is down. Because we could not go to Bushy Park we went to Home Park. The trees there are not that old and only a few branches had come off but lots of the fencing surrounding the trunks to protect them from the deer had fallen down.
