Perfect (Day 2478)
Unusually I had to clear frost off the car windscreen before I could take Sigyn out for her morning wander up the hill. We don't tend to get much in the way of frost, but the ground was crunchy and there was a very light dusting of snow on the path up the hill.
After walking Sigyn I got myself organised and headed into town to do the weekly shop, then back home to unpack and have breakfast.
With chores done, my beautiful wife and I got out to Stromness to check on the horses and get out a ride on George and Jeepers. The weather was perfect. No wind and strong sunshine made it feel warmer than it was. Another great ride ended with some jolly japes at the yard - removing saddles and bridles while still sitting on the horse, then sliding off over the horse's bum.
Home for lunch and to get out a wander with Sigyn at Lyde. We had a slight diversion on the way home and dropped in to S&C to see how they are getting on with renovations in their new place.
The day finished with another visit to the horses as the last of the light faded away.
