Hold the Line

Mrs C has bought lots of little figures to photograph in unusual situations. One of the first things she thought of was using a Lateral FlowTest, but she wanted it to be a “used” one. Neither of us has needed to do a LFT for several weeks so we didn’t have one lying around. But having spent Saturday night playing with the band in a crowded pub, feeling a bit snotty this morning and due to attend a funeral tomorrow, I volunteered to take a test “just in case”.
As I suspected, it was all clear and my reward for doing the test was to be allowed to “play” with the figures! I quite like the scenario of one person anxiously watching to see if that second line appears, a second person showing mild interest in the result and the third person staring at their phone and totally oblivious of the drama playing out alongside them! Can’t help but think that it’s probably a fair representation of the populations attitude to covid at the moment.
Of course, if I’d known Boris was going to announce that free tests would end in April, I might not have been so quick to waste what is now a “valuable resource”! Still, with the final restrictions (in England) being lifted on Friday, that’s probably all a bit academic anyway.
