We woke up to more snow and blue skies and this flower*.

We headed out for a walk and ended up at the dam - both gates were open. This doesn't happen very often and is a consequence of fuller rives due to rain, snow and thaws.  The salmon ladder on the other hand was without water as it has been emptied for maintenance. This doesn't happen very often either and was interesting to see. 

*and, of course, and the awful news that Russia has indeed invaded Ukraine. I find it  incomprehensible - what times we live in, emerging from pandemic to this.
