High Skies

Today I visited the exhibition “High Skies, Treasures from the Rijksmuseum”, forty paintings from the collection of the Rijksmuseum that are normally stored in their depot. Beautiful views by great masters from three centuries, but also many intimate cityscapes. This exhibition is the third of four exhibitions with paintings from the Rijksmuseum, traveling along five smaller museums in the Netherlands. We missed the first two, "Low Lands" and "Cool Waters" but we'll certainly keep an eye open for the fourth traveling exhibition.
