Now You See It, Now We Don’t

The weather certainly was different today. The warmer temps melted all the snow by evening. We had a leisurely morning. While I was enjoying the birds, I happened to notice this intricate ice sculpture on the azalea. After lunch, the men put chains on the tires and we braved the snow drifts on our road. We needed them and still slid sideways. But after a few miles, the roads were clear. We went to town to buy supplies we needed for the rest of the week. Hubby treated me to a nice pair of Keen hikers at Cabellas. The ones I’ve been using are 30 years old and the tread is long gone. Since today is “pi” day, I almost blipped the delicious apple pie we are having for dessert but the ice won out. It had completely melted when we got home. Hoping you found at least a slice of pie to brighten your day. It is such a shame our world can’t be at peace and everyone be able to celebrate today. COVID reports from China are a bit unnerving. Thanks for all the kindness lately. Be safe. “Patience is to wait for the ice to melt instead of breaking it.” ― Munia Khan
