It’s My Life

A very rare occurrence - having the gym to ourselves this afternoon. For reasons best known to herself, Mrs C asked Google to play Donny Osmond. I lasted until halfway through “Puppy Love” before cracking and requesting Bon Jovi instead. A much more suitable soundtrack for flinging weights around.
An early start today because I’d sold an office chair (we bought two and there isn’t really room for both) and collection was at 8.30am. I’d never met the person who was buying the chair but, in less than five minutes, we discovered we had about ten friends in common! That’s what you get for living in a small town I suppose.
Didn’t want to waste that early start so did the weekly shop as soon as the chair was gone. Possibly peaked a bit too soon as I discovered we’d forgotten essentials like bread when we got home. Fortunately, our route to the gym this afternoon took us back near M&S, so a quick detour ensured I can have toast for breakfast tomorrow.
Going to be an early tea tonight as well. Normally Mrs C goes out on Wednesdays, leaving me home alone, but tonight is the start of rehearsals for our summer play, so that’ll be me out as well for the next three months.
And there we have it. A bit of trading, some shopping, a workout and a play rehearsal. It might not suit everyone but……..”It’s My life”!
