Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

In the absence of anything particularly newsworthy happening today, this picture is from our walk along the water of Leith on Sunday.

The Prince and I were very excited to spot a heron.

Us: “Ooooh - look! Amazing.”

Out came our phones. I managed to get this one, slightly blurry picture before…

Murphy (bounding to the water): “LET’S PLAY CHASE MASSIVE PIGEON.”

And that was the end of that tranquil moment of wonder!
