By the light of the cake

So the big day is here at last, Will is six. And for the first time ever, his birthday has not been a fine and sunny day. His actual birthday was some kind of heatwave.

So the traditional Drusilla's trip was postponed for a finer day and we had another birthday party at home with my mum, dad and Clare. All good fun, they have all gone now and we are watching Dr Who while building lego, playmobil etc...

Happy Birthday, my best boy. Who knew how absolutely wonderful it was going to be to have you in our lives? xxx
