The Queen in Wick Road
After a miserable rainy start to the day the sun came out and as there were quite a few events scheduled in our area I went for a leisurely bike ride to visit a friend and one of the fairs. I also went down a couple of the streets where I knew there was a street party being organised over the weekend.
This was in Wick Road, Teddington. The Queen looked so realistic in the sun! The tables were out and a band was already playing.
There was also a stage set up outside a pub in Hampton Wick and some people were already dancing as the Road was closed. See the extra which is another house where I liked the decorations.
Near the church there was also a fair organised by the local Rotary club. They also had a stage set up for a list of entertainers, young and old, throughout the afternoon. Lots of people had brought chairs or blankets and were enjoying the entertainment. The second extra is the local Ukulele band which meets in a pub each week!
I watched the end of the French Open Womens tennis and aim to watch the Derby too.
