Granny’s Rose

The rose in todays photograph sits by the two seater table in the garden and was given to us by Hanna, Granny to Sam and Joshua. As well as looking good it has a wonderful smell.
It reminds us all of Mrs S's Mum - Hanna
When Hanna passed away she requested no hymns so for one of the pieces of music we selected Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman singing “Time To Say Goodbye” and the additional photograph shows Joshua and fiancée Tiana at the Andre Bocelli concert in Inverness this evening.

Elsewhere a pretty quiet day, Mrs S and I headed out for breakfast at the Pier Cafe, looking at her rota we do not have many days together in July so we enjoy what time we can manage together. I then went to the rugby club to meet the second potential contractor for electrical work at the club. Marked contrast to yesterdays, a four hour visit looking at what can be done rather than what cannot be done.

No Carrick Roads Gig Racing with Epic tonight, only three names down which is one up on last week.
