Sigh
A frustrating day. A lovely time at Little Fishes this morning, but Bean was not having a good morning and was fed up that Rosie was already playing with another little girl because we were late. "But I don't WANT to play with her, I just want to play with Rosie!" Can't wait for teenage years. Eventually he got his way, but I left them to it to sort things out themselves and they did. Bear was off playing too, he's comfortable there.
Lunch was bits and pieces, Steve was out, the weather was grey so nobody was especially interested in going outdoors, Bear wanted to go to sleep, and Bean wanted his new legoalike that we picked up yesterday. Bad quality stuff that made dents in my thumb from sharp sticky out bits that should have been removed during production. And a man with two right arms. Ah well, it was £2 and it was a fire truck so I don't really have much room to complain.
But the main problem with today has been the testosterone flooding my four year old Bean. All we can do is ride it out, love him unconditionally (emotions and frustrations and everything), and pray we don't all go mad while we wait for this hormone imbalance to settle down again.
And remember the good days, like yesterday, and cherish them.
