Celebrations!

Hazel’s birthday! So we had an excuse to celebrate. And her favourite champagne (Billiecart Salmon) was ordered, so that when she came over before we went to lunch, it was a nice surprise. One glass here, then a dander over the Links to our destination, a wee restaurant we’ve been meaning to try for ages, Left Field. And it did not disappoint. The waiter was most impressed that we’d done a ‘Champagne tour’ and was very jealous.

We had a lovely meal, with a fantastic view over the Links on what became a gorgeous afternoon/evening. Then a dander home and finishing off the champagne. We had an hour or so in the sunshine in the back garden when we came home. 

Just had an email from a travel agent for a Big Trip we’re thinking about… 

My back is really sore. Has been a for a couple of days. I can hardly walk…
