Cloudy and rain by Chesil Beach!

We woke to rain and wind this morning but the shower did not last too long. The first time I have worn trousers, socks and shoes for several weeks!  The plan was to drive via Weymouth to the Isle of Portland and go to a view point looking back at Chesil Beach. However when we drove through Weymouth we could not see the Isle of a Portland as it was covered in low cloud! Plan B was to stop at Chesil Beach before the causeway for a bit of a walk with Libby. Very few people there in the big car park but there were lots of people windsurfing and sailing in Weymouth Bay ( venue for Sailing at the 2012 Olympics) as it was windy.

Later in the day the sun came out and it was much warmer.  I went for lunch in Morton Gardens with a friend who I’ve not seen for two years. Still windy there.
