Thank goodness for technology

A trip to the local private hospital this lunchtime for an echocardiogram. The wait to have a NHS appointment was unknown, so I paid up!!! 

The clinician was lovely and happy to allow me to take a picture for blip. The cardiologist was due to do a clinic this afternoon and would see the results. She said that he would probably compare them with the ones from the test on 13th April last year in the local NHS hospital. I blipped that shot, but have no idea if there had been any deterioration. 

We await the results. 

Lunch was taken at Stokes at the Lawn, a lovely quirky venue. We did our usual and chose,  one sandwich which arrived with yummy chips, and an enormous piece of cake, to share between us. It was a lovely change as we haven’t been out much during the very hot weather.

I’ve just had a call from R to say that two ginger kittens have appeared in her back garden. They are tiny, no collars and no idea how they got in there!!!
