Planning?

For various reasons I had not been able to plan the parish walk properly. I therefore decided that we'd go back to Pennington Flash, a walk we've done a few times but with variations. I knew there was a handy pub opposite where we've eaten before. 

As we arrived I was a bit shocked to see the pub - see extra. A rethink was required as a group of 10 is harder to accommodate. 

Anyway, the walk was good, but it had to be shorter today to match ability. I tried ringing one of our local pubs to book lunch but they wouldn't answer the phone. We went there anyway and they were able to accommodate us for a meal. 

Hopefully I will get out to plan the next one in advance.
