Aberystwyth Wheelchair Basketball

A great evening out but the picture of basketball was quickly relegated to extra pics when this caught our eye as we drove Tilda back into the town centre where she lives.   A collective “Wow” moment!

First half of the day was all about repotting bulbs.  Sadly my miniature narcissus have been decimated by Narcissus Fly grubs which burrow into the bulbs and eat them :-(.   I have recovered some but need to find a way to protect the bulbs from the adult fly in spring when they are breeding.  

The afternoon trip to Aber included a big supermarket shop before basketball.  We took Katie along and she joined in while Tilda and I minded the dogs and had a natter.  Jamie had a good time, playing as if he hadn’t had a year off and netting a couple of great baskets.  A fun trip out crowned by the glorious sunset.
