Gloucester Quays .. RIP Queen Elizabeth II

An eventful,day. We dropped our dog at a friends to stay there for a few nights and  the made our way to Gloucester.so much rain…such heavy storms we stopped in a lay-by for about half an hour.

The blip is of Gloucester Docks. We have friends who have an apartment in one of the old warehouses. It is a very stylish conversion and we have stayed here a few times. 

There is an outlet mall and I have bought various things here in the past…today I bought a new bag at the Osprey shop..heavily discounted. I also bought two good umbrellas for £7.99 each! 

So sad to hear about the Queen dying. She was such a stalwart monarch. She could only be admired for her devotion to her role and amazing workload. Not sure Charles III will be held in such high esteem.
