Cut & Paste

I could cut and paste some Saturday Blips, it’s all about the rugby.
Mrs S left for her shift, I cooked myself breakfast and settled with the newspaper and a cafetière of coffee. First up the All Blacks v Australia on TV always good to watch. Showered and a walk up to the Recreation Ground for Falmouth v Bideford, it didn’t go to plan, Falmouth were on the cusp of a fourth consecutive defeat when a suspected serious injury to a Falmouth player brought the game to a halt. The photograph in todays Blip shows me fiddling with my mobile probably forty-five minutes to an hour after the injury occurred, we were waiting for an ambulance.

(The lad was well looked after but unfortunately he, and those caring for him, had to wait, laid on the pitch, for nine hours before an ambulance arrived.)

I walked home and watched South Africa v Argentina on catch up without knowing the score, another good game. Paddy pulled and tugged throughout his walk but I still enjoyed it.
Dinner and the wait for a tired Mrs S.
