Riverbed
Today's the day ........................... to look down
This is the view looking down from the Telford Bridge over the River Dee at Tongland.
The river is still tidal here and the tide is out. The riverbed is exposed at the edges to show the combination of sedimentary rock and muddy channels. When the tide is at its highest, it will all be covered with up to eight metres of water.
An everchanging and fascinating environment ......................
