Diary of an Edinburgher

Archie the shopper

Archie and I popped up to the chemist this morning - I gave them back a box of spare pills to dispose of safely, now that the doctor has changed my doses.

When JR came back from the gym, we all decided to go down town. I need a new pair of cords for the winter, JR always likes browsing, and Archie likes going shopping.

We took the bus down town (why does Archie like the bus but not the car?) I went straight to one of my favourite shops and I knew they had cords, found a pair, bought them and we were out in about 10 minutes max. My kind of shopping.

Next, we stopped for a coffee and a fairly large scone each. (Extra) The others did a bit more browsing, and I popped in to Lakeland to buy some of my favourite Aussie licorice. It is no more! But they now have Kiwi licorice! It’s made in the wee town that JR spent many years of her youth. And very nice it is too. (The licorice, and indeed, the wee town…)
