Monday: Strong Winds Forecast …

… it’s 7pm and already very windy. Lots of boats and ships sheltering in our bay - I can see many of their lights from our upstairs window. Wind from the south.
It’s been damp and around 14°C - MrD on his motorbike most of the day.
I’ve been listening to chain saws, strimmers and wood shredding machine as a little self-sown wild area of shrubs and assorted wild plants has been chopped down to the ground. It supported so much wildlife … fingers crossed that it will regrow next spring.
