Leaves

I am the only one with leaves. These are from Fireglow now that the shade from above is gone. I would credit reduced wind but Summer Gold, in the same backyard, has lost nearly all of her leaves. 

Australia’s richest man, Andrew Forrest, will put US$494 million into a fund that is trying to raise $100 billion to rebuild Ukraine.  The fund will be led by BlackRock. The fund will be called the Ukraine Green Growth Initiative. It will focus on rebuilding the country's energy and telecommunications infrastructure with the most advanced, sustainable technology. 
Nikita Chibrin, 27, is a Russian soldier who made his way to Spain. He was part of the invading forces. He says he never fired his gun. He is requesting political asylum. This is the second Russian serviceman to flee the country after taking part in the invasion. He said he protested the invasion immediately and was demoted. He fled in June by hiding in a truck that went back to Russia for food supplies and then contacting a nonprofit that managed to get him out. 
Remember that Ukraine also has the "I want to live" project that helps Russian soldiers surrender. It has a chatbot. Russians fill out a form. It provides information on how to surrender if and when they are sent to Ukraine. They've received 3,500 appeals. 
Russians are increasingly but surprisingly turning to social media and protesting. The Institute for the Study of War estimates that 1,500 mothers with disabled children or more than three children have petitioned for their husbands to be exempt from the draft.
