Lots of jolly snowmen
After picking the grandchildren up from school I decided to do quiet activities before their tea as they have a busy week ahead. We made these snowman chains and they coloured them…note the different styles! Needless to say the top ones took much longer, about an hour, while the other was dashed off in about 20 minutes! The twins are different in lots of ways, which is good!
We also made some snowflakes and may make some Christmas cards next week.
One of them also read Goldilocks and the Three Bears really well ( on the first reading as it’s a new book brought home from school today) with good expression for the dialogue. We are going to see this in pantomime at Richmond after Christmas.
Matt Baker is the ‘star’ so I will be interested to see his acting.
Managed to sort out and print all the labels for our Christmas cards. However I think we may email a few of our newsletters this year as we have no colour printer and it’s so expensive to get copies done…the library is charging £1 per A4 sheet!
