Cake
It s my wife’s birthday tomorrow. She selected her chosen cake: chocolate with roasted hazelnuts.
So I made the cake this morning: it involved blending the ground roasted hazelnut with grated chocolate, adding flour then mixing in beaten butter, sugar and egg yolks. Then folding in stiff whisked egg whites. A rich mixture!
It needed longer than specified to cook so I hope it will be ok!
Our son will do the icing and decoration tomorrow.
Then we’ll all eat it!
