Another Family Day
We spent the morning simply resting in our lovely hotel. Today, we celebrate the Patroness of the U.S., Our Lady as the Immaculate Conception. Mass was at noon. They remodeled the sanctuary since our last visit; we love the changes. Their stained glass windows are modern but well done. From there we picked up Mike for lunch and spent the afternoon enjoying his company. It worked out that today was his and Jillian’s day off. We all headed to Bob and Jillian’s so we could go out for dinner after he got home from work. Jillian is a senior this year. She works after school and has saved enough to buy her own new car. She has matured into a responsible and dear young woman. We value our time with this part of the family. This was our shortest visit but a very pleasant one. Just wish we lived closer to one another. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe and healthy. "I don't think quantity time is as special as quality time with your family." — Reba McEntire
