Another very wintry day, with a freezing fog which never lifted. I had a lift into town with D, posted all my cards and then went to DG1 for a swim and sauna. Home on the bus. 

After lunch, Jess and I were outdoors for a bit, stacking logs and stuff. Then it was time for some housework and making the tea (roasted cauliflower, black beans and quinoa).

I lit the fire early and read for a bit ( News of the Dead by James Robertson - a fine book) until D came home.
