Variety

The day started with a visit from Emily who I haven’t seen for more than 2 years. She had lots to tell us as she has just finished her first teaching practice with 3-5 year olds, interesting!! We gave her the present of the patchwork quilt and  cushions that I made for her recently. It was a complete surprise and she was absolutely delighted. She was interested to hear how it was made, so I will share some of the pictures that I took along the way, so that she has them to keep. 

When she arrived Amber was a bit unsure, didn’t remember Emily and growled at her. The offering of a biscuit remarkably changed the scene and they were friends. 

This evening we went to the Christmas lecture at Lincoln Uni. Fish Tales, the history and physics of the goldfish!! It was surprisingly interesting. There was a moment that I thought this is the point that I’ve lost it, but I picked it up again later.
