More cold feet

A day of tasks !!! 

I was expecting delivery of a parcel with expensive contents for S. But I didn’t expect R to be ringing me on the house phone before I was out of bed, to say that S was on the phone with the delivery driver and he was at the house next door that hasn’t got a number. Fortunately the parcel wouldn’t go through the letterbox and I’m sure they are not allowed to leave it on the doorstep (thank goodness)
The driver came round to deliver it and I explained the problem Perhaps I should buy my neighbour a number for Christmas. 

The next task was another trip to Lincoln to complete the dental treatment started yesterday. I’m impressed with the speed and efficiency of everyone involved.

I got my blip from the upper floor of the car park. I didn’t envy the poor souls on the ice. 

The next task was to head to Tuxford to collect a package for R and to post the next batch of cards. I’ve given up hoping for anyone to get their card from us on time, but it will get there eventually.

My random act of kindness today was to cut the grapes for the blackbird in half. He wasn’t able to eat the whole ones when they froze on the table. His mate even came to share in the treats.
