A sparkly fairy mosaic!

Today we looked after our twin grandchildren so that my daughter could have a bit of a rest as she has the bad cold and cough etc that is going round. We went out for breakfast in a local Cote restaurant …not as good as it used to be but a nice change for us.

They brought some of their Christmas presents and as they are very good at sharing both did one of these glittery mosaic puzzles. It kept them busy for quite a while and is a pleasing result.

They also had Yo-tos for presents from us, which are a sort of music/story players with headphones ( the modern equivalent of a Sony Walkman I think) You can use an app to download new material and also buy cards which you insert. They store all the kit in bags and as they are identical I thought it would be a good idea to put their names on the outside of each bag,

As I have a sewing machine which has a computer programme  to do simple names using capital letters, we did this on felt and then sewed the felt label onto the bags. They both helped programme the machine and then liked making the machine work using their feet! 

After taking them home we went to a Pets at Home for dog food and found it very busy. Although it was raining lots this morning it was not this afternoon so I was able to go for a dry dog walk.
